HIGHLITE PHOTOGRAPHY

Good things Utah

For all of you that don't know Highlite Photography was featured on Good things Utah on Wednesday! Our own sweet Mindy Gibson was all over the tube.  They discussed ways to make yourself thinner in a photograph.  We took a before and after picture of Mindy to show the difference.  The first photograph demonstrates  WHAT NOT TO DO IN A PICTURE.  The second picture is taken correctly.

  If we take your picture, we make sure you look hot!  =-)

 

Can you see a difference!?  How did this happen!?  Well first of all the lighting is correct, the pose is very flattering (not taken straight on), her change of clothing really slims her out as well as her hair that is down as apposed to being pulled back, we cheated a little and digitally slimed her out and she is retouched to make her look her best and last but not least, Highlite Photography is taking the picture!  =-)  This transformation happened in less than 5 minutes and the difference is amazing!  So as you can see,  we do amazing things.  Mindy you rock!

Great Salt Lake Bridals

Here is a bride that we love, all the way from Colorado.  They had there wedding at Red Butte Gardens and decided that they were going to get some bridals after they were married.  It was stormy and it was sprinkling at the Great Salt Lake but it was so worth it.  The pictures came out BEAUTIFUL!  Here are a few of the top Favs....

    

Lesley and Parker

We ventured out with Lesley and Parker to do an Urban engagement shoot a few days ago who just got recently engaged.  It wasn't hard to take pictures of this handsome couple!  We had so much fun thought I would share a few of my favorite images from there shoot!  Can't wait to shoot there wedding very soon!  

            

Moonlight Madness!

In celebrating Moonlight Madness all of Gardner Village is decorating there porches in a Hawaiian theme.  There is a contest to see who will win and let's just say ours rocks the house!  Moonlight madness is on August 16th and we will be open until midnight!  There will be tons of things going on here so come check it out!  Don't forget you hula skirt!

Vintage Beauty

Crystal was looking for a vintage look to fit her beautiful dress, we did some cool wood walls and urban brick but I love this shot by far!  This old bridge gives it a vintage feel with beautiful scenery and a classy timeless look.  GO Crystal and GO highlite!  =-)  We love our jobs!

Bridal at Red Butte

THis was my favorite pictures from the shoot.  The weather was great, lighting good (thanks to Marc  =-) ) and our couple were just amazing to work with. It's very romantic and well, i love it!

Bridals at the Salt Flats!

We photographed April and Robert here at the Salt Flats and they are B-E-A-UTIFUL!  What more could you ask for?!  The the white sand, tall mountains, colorful sunset, and of course our handsome couple, they really turned out gorgeous!  Robert and April were so fun to work with!  It was just a fun experience altogether!

GRAND OPENING!

We are celebrating our grand opening at Gardner Village this Saturday, May 17th, so come join the party! We will be playing "i spy" around Gardner Village, voting on picture of the month, handing out candy and goodies and playing lots of fun games! Prizes will be giving out including free sittings! Urban Engagements

So I've become a little obsessive with these engagements. I put them on for my desktop background and I stare at them everyday! haha, i just love love, and engagements are just so happy. so ya, you should love them too.
